The "Battechiodo" Red Wine is made with a grapes selection of mostly Sangiovese Grosso, directly produced from our vineyards. A young wine, slightly "barriccato". |

"Curzio" is an Orcia DOC made exclusively from Sangiovese Grosso. It has a fine structure, pleasant tannis and a mellow finish. It is initially aged in steel vats, and then in small to medium sized Slavonian oak casks for 6-8 months. The wine is bottle-aged for a further 3 to 6 months before being released.

"Adone" is an Orcia DOC made largely with Sangiovese grapes, plus a small amount of Merlot. It is appreciated for its good structure and tannins, and its smooth, fresh fruitiness. It is aged in steel before spending further months in French and Slovonian oak casks. Like Curzio, its "older sibling", Adone has met with gratifyingly widespread acclaim. go to sheet
"Sunto" is an IGT made largely from Sangiovese, plus some Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. Aged in wood for a whole year longer than the other two wines, it boasts an excellent structure and elegant, rounded tannins. "Sunto" is our oenologist's pride, as our customers have been quick to recognize. go to sheet |

We take our grape skins to D.E.T.A. Srl for distillation into a delightfully rounded grappa that gratifies nose and palate alike. It is presented in attractive half litre bottles and has met with acclaim on the part of local wine shops and restaurants.
The Sante Marie di Vignoni Extra virgin olive oil is obtained partly from traditional stone milling, and partly from modern steel pressing equipment. All picking is done by hand, and the olives are crushed withing a day or two, so as to ensure the characteristic fullness of taste. Our oil is fresh, rounded and peppery, with a lingering hint of sweet almonds and artichokes. |
